The upper features dark green leather with a wood-grain texture—a pattern inspired by the layered markings found on street construction hoardings in New York, offering a unique tactile feel and a narrative quality. An off-white grained leather Swoosh set against a pale blue background creates LAAMS' signature color combination, adding visual depth.
The midsole incorporates the classic Air Sole cushioning system, providing lightweight, responsive comfort suitable for daily wear, skateboarding, and light outdoor activities. The outsole tread has been optimized to enhance slip resistance and durability.
Hidden details add an element of surprise: the tongue lining features a subtle map print of New York's Lower East Side, while the custom insoles display a collage of event posters from LAAMS' five-year history (designed by Joe Ro). Neon green accents on the outsole peek through while walking, adding a playful touch and distinctive flair.
The shoe is lightweight overall; the dark green wood-grain colorway is a trending style for Winter 2025, offering significant collectible and resale value.
Care instructions: Gently wipe the upper with a damp cloth and mild detergent; avoid machine washing or prolonged exposure to direct sunlight. Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated place and avoid crushing to prevent deformation. Regularly clean the outsole tread to maintain traction.
